DLSA Dibrugarh Driver Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The District Legal Services Authority, Dibrugarh has issued a walk-in interview notice for filling up 1 Driver (Contractual) post at the District & Sessions Judge Court Building, Dibrugarh-786001 (Assam). The engagement is purely temporary, on a contractual basis for 1 (one) year, and does not entitle the person to be regularised in government service. Freshers from Dibrugarh and nearby areas who hold a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving licence can attend the walk-in interview with the prescribed documents.

Who Can Apply?

• Minimum Qualification: You must have passed Class 8 (VIII).
• Maximum Qualification: If you have passed HSSLC (10th) or above, you are not eligible to apply.
• Driving Licence: You must have a valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving licence issued by the competent authority.
• Citizenship: You must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old as on 01.01.2026.
• Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be given as per Government of Assam norms for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/MOBC).

Salary

• Selected candidate will get a fixed pay of Rs. 15,000 per month.
• No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the walk-in interview.

Selection Process

Selection is done through a single-stage process:

1. Walk-in Interview: Candidates have to report at the Office of the District Legal Services Authority, Judicial Court Complex, Phool Bagan, Dibrugarh on 6 June 2026 at 09:30 AM with the filled-in application form and original documents for verification.
2. Document Verification: All testimonials and the driving licence will be verified at the venue.

Candidates who appear without the required documents will be rejected without any reason being assigned.
