Who Can Apply?
For General Medical Officer Posts:
- Qualification: MBBS degree or equivalent qualification recognised under the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956)
- Registration: Valid NMC (National Medical Commission) or MMC (Maharashtra Medical Council) registration certificate is mandatory
- Internship: Completed internship is required
For Specialist Posts (Ophthalmology, Oncology, Surgery):
- Qualification: MBBS plus a Postgraduate degree or diploma (MD/MS/DNB or PG Diploma) in the relevant specialisation, recognised under the Indian Medical Council Act 1956
- Registration: Valid NMC/MMC registration for both MBBS and PG qualification is required
Other Requirements:
- Domicile: Preference is given to candidates with Maharashtra internship/domicile
- Experience: Candidates with prior experience will be given preference in the merit list
- Candidates who are already working as unauthorised absentees or those suspended from government service are not eligible to apply

Responsibilities
- Examine and treat patients at the assigned hospital or rural health centre
- Maintain patient records, prescriptions, and treatment reports accurately
- Perform outpatient and inpatient clinical duties as assigned
- Carry out emergency medical duties and first-response care
- Coordinate with senior specialists and refer patients when needed
- Conduct health camps and community health activities under NHM programmes
- Follow infection control, hospital protocols, and government health guidelines
- Prepare and submit monthly reports to the District Health Officer
