DFCCIL, a Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, has released Vacancy Notice No. 29/2026 for one post of AGM/JGM/DGM (Finance) at its Corporate Office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This is a deputation posting for 3 years, extendable to 5 years, meant for serving Central Government, State Government, or PSU officers with a finance and accounts background. The exact grade you get appointed at (AGM, JGM, or DGM) depends on your current pay level and years of service — so officers across three seniority levels can apply for the same vacancy.

DFCCIL was set up to plan, build, and operate dedicated freight rail corridors connecting India's major ports and industrial centres, helping move freight faster and more efficiently across the country. This vacancy notice was issued to all Zonal Railways, Production Units, Railway Training Institutes, CPSUs, and Central/State Government bodies audited by the C&AG, so eligible officers from a wide range of government and PSU backgrounds can apply.

Who Can Apply?

For AGM Level:

• Central/State Government officers working in an analogous grade (Level-13A) in the relevant discipline, or
• Officers in Selection Grade (Level-13) with at least 12 years of Group A service in the relevant discipline, or
• PSU employees in the Rs. 90,000-2,40,000 (IDA) (E6) grade with 4 years' service in that grade

For JGM Level:

• Central/State Government officers working in an analogous substantive grade (Level-13) in the relevant discipline, or
• Officers in Junior Administrative Grade (JAG, Level-12) with 8-12 years of Group A service in the relevant discipline, or
• PSU employees in the Rs. 80,000-2,20,000 (IDA) (E5) grade with 4 years' service in that grade

For DGM Level:

• Central/State Government officers holding Senior Scale (Level-11) posts with at least 10 years of Group B service, holding a cadre post in Level-10 in their parent cadre, or
• PSU employees in the Rs. 70,000-2,00,000 (IDA) (E4) grade with 4 years' service in that grade

You should preferably have experience in Commercial and Transportation matters of Indian Railways, along with works contracts, tenders, accounting, taxation, loans, funds management, financial concurrence, and budget matters.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 55 years old.
• The cut-off date for age and eligibility is the closing date of the vacancy notice (12 August 2026).

Salary

• You will get your parent pay plus deputation allowance, along with other perks and allowances as per DFCCIL policy.
• Equivalent PSU IDA scales for this post range from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 2,40,000 depending on the grade (AGM/JGM/DGM) you are placed at.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for this post. Selection is based on document scrutiny:

1. Application Screening: Your application, along with NOC, APAR ratings for the last 5 years, and Vigilance/D&AR clearance, is screened by DFCCIL against the level-wise criteria listed above.
2. Forwarding by Parent Department: Your application must be forwarded through the proper channel by your current employer, along with a certificate confirming your eligibility.

Applications received with incomplete information will be summarily rejected. If any information or document you submit is found to be incorrect, hidden, or misrepresented, you will be repatriated to your parent department immediately.
