The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) is hiring 12 candidates for non-teaching positions across Group A, B, and C. This is a Category-I Central University under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, located at Bandarsindri near Kishangarh, Ajmer district, Rajasthan. Salary ranges from Rs. 18,000 (Pay Level 1) for Multi-Tasking Staff up to Rs. 1,77,500 (Pay Level 10) for Medical Officer. The last date to apply online is 8 May 2026.
CURAJ Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026 — 12 Posts
Central University of Rajasthan released Employment Notification No. CURAJ/R/F.171/Rectt./2025/3155 dated 19.12.2025 for direct recruitment to 12 non-teaching positions. CURAJ holds the highly prestigious NAAC A++ accreditation and is ranked among the top universities by NIRF. The recruitment covers a single Medical Officer (Female) post, two Private Secretary posts, and nine Group C posts including Technical Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, UDC, Laboratory Attendant, and Multi-Tasking Staff.

Who Can Apply?
Medical Officer (Female) — A-01
Qualification: MBBS recognised by MCI. Desirable: Postgraduate medical qualification, experience at a Medical College hospital or corporate hospital.
Private Secretary — B-01
Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, plus 3 years of experience as Stenographer or Personal Assistant at Pay Level 6 in 7th CPC (or equivalent in 6th CPC). You also need stenography speed of 100 wpm, typing speed of 35 wpm in English / 30 wpm in Hindi, and computer knowledge.
Technical Assistant — C-01 (Instrumentation)
B.Tech / B.E. in Instrumentation, Biomedical, Physics, Electrical, or Electronics & Communication Engineering with at least 60% marks and 2 years of work experience in the relevant field.
Technical Assistant — C-02 (Earth Sciences)
Bachelor's degree in Biology or Environmental Science with Chemistry as one subject, at least 60% marks, plus 2 years of experience in environmental analysis and monitoring.
Laboratory Assistant — C-03 & C-04
For C-03: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. For C-04: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or BCA from a recognised university.
Upper Division Clerk — C-05
Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (or pass in Master's), plus 2 years of experience as Lower Division Clerk in a Central/State govt, university, or autonomous organisation. Computer knowledge is mandatory.
Laboratory Attendant — C-06
10+2 with Science subjects from a recognised board. Lab work experience is desirable.
Multi-Tasking Staff — C-07
Matriculation (Class 10) pass OR ITI pass. The simplest entry-level qualification on this notification.

- Age relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per University/UGC/GoI rules. Govt employees with 3+ years in same line get up to 5 years relaxation.
- No age limit applies to existing CURAJ employees.
Salary
- Medical Officer (Pay Level 10): Rs. 56,100 — Rs. 1,77,500
- Private Secretary (Pay Level 7): Rs. 44,900 — Rs. 1,42,400
- Technical Assistant (Pay Level 5): Rs. 29,200 — Rs. 92,300
- Lab Assistant / UDC (Pay Level 4): Rs. 25,500 — Rs. 81,100
- Lab Attendant / MTS (Pay Level 1): Rs. 18,000 — Rs. 56,900
- Pension: Selected candidates will be covered under the National Pension System (NPS).

- Regular CURAJ employees: No fee

Selection Process
- Application Scrutiny — CURAJ may shortlist on the basis of qualification or experience higher than the minimum if too many applications are received.
- Written Test / Trade Test / Computer Test — University may conduct these depending on the post, as per Cadre Recruitment Rules (Non-Teaching), 2018.
- Skill / Proficiency Test — For Private Secretary: stenography (100 wpm) and typing (35/30 wpm) tests of qualifying nature.
- Personal Interview — Final selection round at CURAJ campus, Bandarsindri, Ajmer.
- Document Verification — Original certificates checked at the time of test/interview.

Responsibilities
- Handle the duties specific to your post — clinical care for Medical Officer, secretarial work for Private Secretary, lab operations for Technical Assistant, and so on.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, records, and safety protocols if posted in technical or attendant roles.
- Support academic departments, research labs, and administrative offices at the CURAJ campus, Bandarsindri.
- Keep documentation, attendance, and inventory records as per university SOPs.
- Assist students, faculty, and visiting researchers in your assigned department.
- Follow UGC and University service conditions including code of conduct.
- Manage routine office, lab, or hospital tasks within your post's scope.
- Support official events, examinations, and convocations as directed by department heads.
