Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) Project Manager Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

CURAJ has released Advertisement No. 5114 dated 6 May 2026 for 1 Project Manager/Superintendent Engineer (Civil) post (Group-A, Post Code A-01) to oversee the construction projects currently running inside the university campus at Bandarsindri, Kishangarh, Ajmer. The university has now extended the online application deadline to 31 August 2026 and the hard copy submission deadline to 5 September 2026 through Notification No. 6259 dated 16 July 2026 (originally 5 June and 10 June 2026). This role is purely contractual, lasting till the completion of the project or further orders, whichever comes first, and does not carry any right to a regular appointment or continued service in the University. Experienced civil engineers currently working with CPWD, State PWD, PSUs, or large private construction firms should apply.

As Project Manager/Superintendent Engineer, you would oversee planning, estimation, measurement, and tendering for building and construction works on campus, following CPWD/PWD norms. You will also be expected to perform other duties assigned by the University from time to time, and this engagement can be terminated by the University at any time, even before the stipulated period, in case of unsatisfactory performance, misconduct, or administrative reasons. On expiry of your engagement period, you will not be required to continue in the role unless the University gives a further extension.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute/University or equivalent.
• Experience: You need 8 years of experience as an Executive Engineer in the relevant field from CPWD, State Government PWD services, or similar organized services/semi-Government/PSU/Statutory or Autonomous organizations/University systems, or reputed private organizations with an annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 Crore.
• Desirable: Experience in constructing multi-storey buildings, and skills in planning, estimation, measurement, and tendering as per CPWD/PWD norms. Good knowledge of CPWD manuals, checking of estimates, drawings, structural details, bill of quantities, substitute/deviation item statements, and e-tendering.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and other relevant project management software.

Salary

• The consolidated pay for this post is fixed based on your qualification and experience, as decided by the University.
• You will not be entitled to other benefits admissible to regular CURAJ employees, and this engagement does not create any right to a regular appointment.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

CURAJ will select the Project Manager/Superintendent Engineer through a direct interview:

1. Application Screening: The University reviews your online application and supporting documents.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates must report at the University for a personal interview on the date and time announced on the website.

Applications received after the last date will not be considered and are liable to be summarily rejected. In case of any dispute, the jurisdiction is restricted to the Rajasthan High Court Bench, Jaipur.
