Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), Bandarsindri, Ajmer, has invited applications for 1 Junior Research Fellow position to work on a DBT-funded project titled "Microalgae-Powered Biomanufacturing: A Carbon Capture Approach for Scalable Nutraceutical Aquafeed Production". The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, initially for one year and extendable based on performance. Freshers and research-oriented candidates with a strong background in microbiology, biocatalysis, or molecular biology are encouraged to apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Master's degree in a relevant branch of Science or Technology (or equivalent) with CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% marks where CGPA is not awarded.
• National-Level Exam: You must have cleared UGC/CSIR-NET, GATE, or any other national-level exam conducted by DBT, DST, ICAR, ICMR, DAE, MHRD, DRDO, IIT, IISER, etc.
• Desirable: Hands-on lab experience and a strong background in fermentative biomass in microalgae, biocatalysis, molecular biology, and biochemistry.
• Bonus: Research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed international journals will be a plus.
• Freshers and highly motivated, research-oriented candidates can also apply.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA as per DBT rules.
• The position is initially for 1 year and may be extended yearly based on your performance.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on:

1. Shortlisting on Merit: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their educational qualifications and research background.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email or phone. No separate interview letter will be issued.
3. Document Verification: You must bring your original certificates and documents to the interview.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Being called for an interview does not guarantee selection.
