Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) is hiring 16 Assistant Professors on a contract basis through a walk-in interview. If you have a Master's Degree with NET (or a Ph.D. in the relevant subject), you can attend the interview directly. The posts cover 12 departments including Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Yoga, Pharmacy and Architecture. You will get a fixed salary of Rs. 60,000 per month. Walk-in interviews run from 2 July 2026 to 16 July 2026.

Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), located at Bandarsindri, Kishangarh in Ajmer district, has released advertisement number CURAJ/R/F.176/Rectt./2026/5996 dated 22 June 2026 for 16 Assistant Professor posts across various academic departments. These posts are purely contractual for the Academic Session 2026-27 (up to the last working day of the session or until further orders, whichever is earlier). There is no written exam — selection is based only on a walk-in interview. Freshers with the right qualification can apply.

Who Can Apply?

The qualification depends on the department you want. For most subjects you need a Master's Degree with NET, while a Ph.D. (as per UGC Regulations 2018) gives you exemption from NET.

Science, Arts and Social Science Departments (Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Yoga, Linguistics, Sports Psychology)

• You need a Master's Degree in the relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
• You must have at least 55% in your Master's degree and 60% in two preceding exams (50% and 55% for SC/ST/OBC posts).
• You must have cleared NET in the relevant subject, OR hold a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2018.

Health Sciences

• Master's Degree in Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Pathology, Life Sciences, Medical Lab Technology or allied disciplines.
• NET in Life Sciences (Ph.D. holders are exempted). Ph.D. in the relevant subject is desirable.

Hotel & Tourism Management

• 4-year Bachelor's and/or 2-year Master's in HMCT (or relevant discipline) with First Class, plus Ph.D. or UGC NET. Experience routes are also accepted.

Pharmacy

• B. Pharm + M. Pharm (Pharmacology) with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST), plus registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948. Ph.D. in Pharmacy is desirable.

Vocational Studies (Mechanical / Electronics & Communication)

• ME/M.Tech in the relevant engineering branch with specialisation in Robotics, Mechatronics, VLSI, IoT, etc. Candidates with BE/B.Tech plus 3+ years of industry experience, or a Ph.D. in the relevant field, are also eligible.

Architecture

• B.Arch + M.Arch/M.Plan with at least 55% marks and one year of relevant professional experience.

Age Limit

• The notification does not fix a specific age limit for these contract posts.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged candidates applies as per University and Government of India rules.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 60,000 per month.
• This is a fixed monthly amount. No other allowances or benefits given to regular university staff are payable for these contract posts.

Application Fee

• There is no application fee. You only need to attend the walk-in interview with your application form and documents.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in a single stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend the interview on the date fixed for your department with all original documents and one set of photocopies. The selection committee will assess your eligibility and performance.

The university may increase or decrease the number of posts at the time of selection.

5. Appear for the interview before the selection committee.
