CSJMU has issued Reference No. CSJMU/Pro-ERG/82/2026 dated 20 April 2026 for engagement of project staff on a purely temporary basis as Project Assistant or Field Investigator under centrally sponsored UP CoE projects tenable at the university campus. Project Fellow — Augmented Reality (Project 1)
- Postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks in Education / Educational Technology / Psychology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Cognitive Science or M.Ed / any relevant discipline.
- NET / SET qualification in the relevant discipline.
Project Fellow — Rigveda Project (Project 2)
- Master's degree in Social Sciences discipline with NET / M.Phil / Ph.D.
Project Fellow — Women's Empowerment (Project 3)
- Postgraduate (Master's degree) in any Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
- NET / JRF qualified as per University Grants Commission norms.
Research Assistant — Online Learning (Project 4)
- M.Ed with 55% marks.
- UGC NET in Education.
Desirable Qualifications (Common)
- Hands-on experience in AR content development or immersive learning environments.
- Familiarity with instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, etc.
- Knowledge of Augmented Reality tools / platforms (Unity, ARCore, ARKit) and ICT tools, LMS platforms, digital content development.
- Experience in similar projects, empirical research, publication, and proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
Age Limit
- Project Fellow (Project 1): 18 to 35 years
- Project Fellow (Project 2): 18 to 40 years
- Project Fellow (Project 3): 18 to 40 years
- Research Assistant (Project 4): 18 to 35 years
- The upper age limit is strictly followed at the time of walk-in interview.
- Engagement of the project staff will not be allowed to appear for fresh application under the new project.
Salary
- Project Fellow (Project 1): Rs. 10,000 per month
- Project Fellow (Project 2): Rs. 15,000 per month
- Project Fellow (Project 3): Rs. 14,500 per month
- Research Assistant (Project 4): Rs. 15,000 per month
- This is a consolidated stipend with no additional allowances. The position is purely temporary.
Selection Process
- Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates must appear in person at CSJMU Kanpur on the prescribed date.
- Document Verification: Bring all original documents along with self-attested photocopies for verification at the venue.
- Final Selection: Based on the candidate's performance in the interview and matching of qualifications with project requirement.
No Written Exam. The selection is purely interview-based.

Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigation, data collection, and survey work for the assigned UP CoE research project.
- Develop instructional content using Augmented Reality tools, Unity, ARCore, ARKit, or LMS platforms as required by the project brief.
- Support empirical research, statistical analysis, and writing of research reports under the supervision of the Project Investigator.
- Maintain detailed documentation of fieldwork, interviews, and study findings as per CSJMU and funding agency norms.
- Assist in publication of research papers in peer-reviewed journals and presentation at academic conferences.
- Coordinate with women, students, or community participants for surveys, workshops, and intervention activities.
- Prepare progress reports, monthly updates, and final project deliverables for submission to the funding agency.
- Follow all university research ethics guidelines and project timelines as set by the Centre of Excellence cell.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks in Education, Social Science, Educational Technology, Psychology, Computer Science, or M.Ed (depending on project) plus NET / SET / M.Phil / Ph.D as applicable.
Preferred Qualification
Hands-on experience in AR content development, ICT / LMS tools, instructional design (ADDIE, SAM), Unity / ARCore / ARKit, empirical research, and publication record.
Required Skills
Research methodology, data collection, English reading, writing and speaking, ICT proficiency, project documentation, and field investigation skills.
