CSIR-NEERI Nagpur is hiring 5 Project Associates across two cutting-edge environmental research projects. If you hold a postgraduate degree in science or engineering and want hands-on experience in environmental monitoring, analytical research, or ecological fieldwork, this is your chance to work with one of India's leading environmental research institutes.

• Higher pay for candidates who have cleared CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, ICAR, or ICMR examinations

Selection is straightforward -- it is based entirely on an online interview conducted via MS Teams or Skype. Once shortlisted through the screening process, you will be notified about the interview schedule on the official NEERI website.

• Conduct field studies and collect environmental samples including water, soil, flora, fauna, and bottom sediments
• Operate and maintain sophisticated analytical instruments such as GCMS, Ion Chromatograph, ICPMS, and UPLC
• Perform laboratory analysis of water and soil samples across different environmental matrices
• Monitor flora, fauna, fisheries, and bottom sediments at designated reservoir sites
• Compile research data, prepare analytical reports, and assist in project documentation
• Travel to different states for field sample collection as required by the project
