CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI), Nagpur, has released Advertisement No. RECRUIT_V3_3A_SHWM_09042026 for 1 Project Assistant-II (PA-II) position. This is a purely temporary engagement under the project "Development of Green Belt on Phosphogypsum Filled Reclaimed Area at PARADEEP Phosphate Limited Odisha (CNP-3023)". The position is tenable at CSIR-NEERI Nagpur. Selection is through online interview only — there is no written exam. B.Sc. graduates with Chemistry background can apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a B.Sc. degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized university.
• Result status: You must have your result declared and at least a provisional certificate. Final semester or result-awaited candidates are not eligible.
• Experience: No prior experience is required. However, if there are many applicants, preference may be given based on criteria set by the Screening Committee.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years as on 16 April 2026 (last date of application).

Salary

• You will get Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated) plus HRA (House Rent Allowance) as per applicable rules.
• After 3 years of experience in the same project, you get a 15% increment.
• You will need to arrange your own accommodation, but HRA will be paid.

• No fee — candidates are not required to pay any application fee.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done in 1 stage:

1. Online Interview: The interview will be conducted through MS Teams / Skype or similar platform. The date of interview will be notified separately on www.neeri.res.in. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via the recruitment portal.

Note: This is a temporary position, co-terminus with the project. It does not lead to regularization against any CSIR/CSIR-NEERI permanent post.
