CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CSIR-CCMB), Hyderabad has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 for 4 Technical Officer posts (Post Code TO-01) to manage Institutional Facilities at the laboratory. CSIR-CCMB is a premier research institute under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have an M.Sc in Hospitality Administration or Hospitality Management with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognised University or Institution.
• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of India.
• Equivalent Qualification: If you are claiming any equivalent qualification, you must submit the order or letter from the competent authority along with the hard copy of the application.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 30 years (as on 26 May 2026, the last date of online application)
• Age Relaxation:

Salary

• Pay Matrix Level: Level 7 (7th CPC)
• Total approximate emoluments on minimum of scale: Rs. 91,070 per month (including admissible allowances)
• You will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) and other allowances as per Central Government rules.
• Additional benefits include reimbursement of medical expenses, Leave Travel Concession, Children's Education Allowance, Personal Computer Advance and House Building Advance.
• You will be covered under the National Pension System (or the existing pension scheme if you are an eligible departmental candidate joined before 01.01.2004).

Selection Process

Selection happens in two stages:

1. Stage 1 - Trade Test: The Selection Committee will conduct a Trade Test in the relevant subject to evaluate your suitability for the post. Only shortlisted candidates from this trade test are called for the written exam.
2. Stage 2 - Competitive Written Examination: An OMR-based or computer-based objective type MCQ exam of 200 questions in 3 hours. Questions are set in both English and Hindi (except English Language questions). The exam has three papers.

Final Merit: Paper-II and Paper-III are evaluated only for candidates who score the minimum threshold marks in Paper-I. The final merit list is prepared based on marks in Paper-II and Paper-III only.

3. Pay the application fee online through State Bank Collect (if applicable).
4. Fill in the online application form with educational, personal and category details.
5. Submit the form and take a printout of the computer-generated filled application.
6. Sign the printed application and attach self-attested copies of mark sheets, certificates, fee e-receipt and other documents.
7. Send the signed hard copy with documents to CSIR-CCMB Hyderabad to reach on or before 5 June 2026 (06:00 PM).

• Manage institutional facilities including hospitality services and catering at CSIR-CCMB
• Plan and organise food service operations for the institute canteen and guest house
• Supervise housekeeping, dining and accommodation services for staff and visiting scientists
• Keep proper records of inventory, food supplies and equipment used in institutional facilities
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement of supplies
• Follow hygiene, safety and quality standards as per government guidelines
• Assist the in-charge in budgeting and audit of hospitality operations
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Competent Authority
