CJM Dhubri Chowkidar Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Office of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhubri has released advertisement dated 15 May 2026 for 1 Chowkidar post in the establishment of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhubri. This is an unreserved vacancy under Dhubri District Judiciary. There is no written exam — selection is through an interview / viva-voce of 30 marks only. People who have passed Class VIII pass but are NOT HSSLC, Class XII or higher pass are eligible to apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Educational Qualification: You must have passed Class VIII or HSLC. People who have passed HSSLC, Class XII or any higher examination are NOT eligible to apply.
• Nationality: You must be an Indian Citizen as per the Constitution of India.
• Employment Exchange: You must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration. Registration number and date must be written on the application.
• In-service Candidates: If you are already in service, you must apply through proper channel.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 40 years (as on 01 January 2026)
• Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be allowed as per existing rules of the Government of Assam.

Salary

• Pay Band: PB-1 Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 52,000 per month
• Grade Pay: Rs. 3,900
• Plus other allowances as per Government of Assam rules

Selection Process

There is no written exam. Selection is done in one stage:

1. Interview / Viva-Voce: 30 marks in aggregate. Place and date of the interview will be uploaded on the official website of Dhubri District Judiciary.

No Call Letters or Admit Cards will be sent individually. The list of eligible candidates will be uploaded on the official website. Check the website and the Notice Board of the Office of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhubri regularly. No TA/DA is allowed for attending the interview.

How to Apply

1. Get the Standard Form for application.
2. Fill in your details. Mention your email address and mobile phone number without fail.
3. Self-attest photocopies of all relevant documents — educational qualification, age proof, experience certificate (if any), caste certificate, valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
4. Attach 3 self-attested recent passport size photographs (taken after 1 January 2026).
5. Write the name of the post applied for clearly on top of the envelope.

7. Application must reach by 30 May 2026. No application will be entertained after the last date. The appointing authority is not responsible for any postal delay.
