CHC Surguja Feeding Demonstrator Recruitment 2026 — 1 Post
The Office of the Block Medical Officer (Khand Chikitsa Adhikari), Community Health Center Udaypur, District Surguja has invited applications for 1 post of Feeding Demonstrator. This position has been sanctioned by the Jila Swasthya Samiti (District Health Committee) for smooth running of the Nutrition Rehabilitation Center (NRC). The appointment will be made on a contractual basis under the DMF Fund, and the salary will be paid from DMF funds only.

Educational Qualification
- BSc in Home Science from a government-recognized university or institution
- Your educational qualification (marksheet/certificate) must be from a government-approved institution
Domicile
- You need a domicile certificate (Niwas Praman Patra) of Chhattisgarh

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate preparation of low-cost, nutritious, energy-dense child foods using locally available and culturally acceptable ingredients to mothers and caregivers
- Provide group counselling to mothers on nutrition, malnutrition prevention, hygiene, sanitation, and infant and young child feeding practices
- Monitor the nutritional status of children admitted to the Nutrition Rehabilitation Center (NRC) and track their progress
- Assist in managing the daily feeding schedule at the NRC and ensure children receive appropriate meals
- Prepare reports on children's nutritional recovery and share feedback with the Block Medical Officer
- Work with caregivers to develop proper feeding habits, time management, and knowledge of kitchen gardening for home nutrition
- Follow all guidelines issued by the National Health Mission and District Health Department for NRC operations
