Central Bank of India is hiring 3 Incharge / Counselor posts on contract basis at its Financial Literacy Centres (FLCs) in Balaghat, Chhindwara and Pandhurna districts of Madhya Pradesh. The engagement is for one year on contract. Salary is Rs. 25,000 per month plus Rs. 1,000 per month as conveyance and mobile expenses. Central Bank of India FLC Counselor Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts
Central Bank of India (CBoI), through its Regional Office Chhindwara, has invited offline applications for the post of Incharge / Counselor at the Financial Literacy Centres (FLCs) operated by the bank's Social Upliftment and Training Institute. The recruitment covers three FLC locations in Madhya Pradesh — Balaghat, Chhindwara and Pandhurna. Preference will be given to Retired or VRS-opted Bank Officers in Scale-I and above from Nationalised Banks, SBI and RRBs. Only candidates with Madhya Pradesh domicile can apply.

- FLC Chhindwara: 1 post (Madhya Pradesh domicile required)
- FLC Pandhurna: 1 post (Madhya Pradesh domicile required)
Total: 3 posts — all on contract basis for one year, extendable based on performance.
Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: You must be a Graduate (any discipline) from a recognised university.
- Computer Skills: You should be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office, internet and typing in local language.
- Health: You must be in good health for field work.
- Domicile: You must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- Preference: Retired or VRS-opted Bank Officers of Scale-I and above from Nationalised Banks, State Bank of India and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) will be given preference.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: Above 45 years
- Maximum age: Less than 65 years
- Age is calculated as on the date of application.
Salary
- Consolidated monthly pay: Rs. 25,000 per month
- Conveyance and mobile expenses: Rs. 1,000 per month
- Total package: Rs. 26,000 per month (all-inclusive)
- The contract is initially for one year and can be renewed based on performance.

Selection Process
There is no written exam. Selection is based on:
- Shortlisting of Applications: Based on qualification, banking experience and domicile.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview at the Regional Office, Chhindwara.
- Document Verification: Final stage before issue of engagement letter.
Preference is given to retired Bank officials with rural banking and financial literacy experience.

Responsibilities
- Run the Financial Literacy Centre (FLC) and oversee its day-to-day functioning at the assigned location
- Conduct financial literacy camps in villages, schools and weekly markets to spread banking awareness
- Guide visitors on banking products such as savings, deposits, loans, insurance and digital payments
- Help SHGs, farmers and rural households understand the use of UPI, BHIM, RuPay and other digital banking tools
- Maintain records of camps held, customers counselled and outreach activities done
- Coordinate with branch managers, BCs and Lead District Manager for joint financial inclusion drives
- Submit monthly progress reports to the Regional Office Chhindwara
