The salary is Rs. 25,000 per month for the first two years and Rs. 28,000 per month in the third year. This is a 3-year contract position.

Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut has released a walk-in notice for one Junior Research Assistant post. The work is for a research project titled "Molecular identification and drug designing clues through in-silico investigation of cestodes parasitizing ruminants and freshwater fishes from Meerut Region", funded by the Council of Science & Technology (CST), Uttar Pradesh. There is no written exam — selection is based only on your performance in the walk-in interview. M.Sc. degree holders in life sciences can apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a First Class in both your Graduate and Post-Graduate exams, with an M.Sc. in Zoology or Applied Sciences.
• Domicile: You must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Preferred: Candidates with NET/GATE or research work experience in life sciences will be given preference.
• Computer skills: You should know computers, Microsoft Office, and bioinformatics software for data analysis.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 28 years as on 14 May 2026, as per UP-CST rules.

Salary

• Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated) for the 1st and 2nd year.
• Rs. 28,000 per month (consolidated) for the 3rd year.
• Paid as per the Council of Science & Technology, U.P. Research Internship and Grant-in-aid rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in a single step:

1. Walk-in Interview: You will be selected based only on your performance in the interview held on 30 May 2026. No TA or DA will be paid for attending the interview.
