University of Lucknow is hiring 1 Project Fellow in the Department of Biochemistry. If you have a B.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Botany with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST), you can apply by email. The fellowship is Rs. 20,000 per month for the first year. University of Lucknow Project Fellow Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The University of Lucknow has released an advertisement for 1 Project Fellow post under a research project titled "Essential oil-based coating and environmental modification for sustainable management of stored grain pests in Uttar Pradesh". The project is sponsored by the Centre of Excellence (CoE), Higher Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. This is a temporary, project-based post and you must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh to apply. M.Sc candidates with relevant experience are preferred.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: B.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Botany with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates)
• Preferred: M.Sc candidates with experience in the relevant field
• Residence: You must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh
• Nationality: Indian citizen

Salary

• You will get a fellowship of Rs. 20,000 per month initially for 1 year.
• No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.

Selection Process

Selection is done by a committee set up by the University:

1. Screening of Applications: Your biodata and documents will be checked against the eligibility criteria.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. You must bring original copies of your academic documents.
