University of Lucknow JRF Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The University of Lucknow has released an advertisement for 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF-1) in a time-bound CSIR (Government of India) sponsored research project (Project No. 25WS (037)/2023-24/EMR-II/ASPIRE). The project is titled "Pamiparib-Inspired Synthesis of Novel PARP 1/2 and Microtubule Polymerization Dual Inhibitors as Anticancer Agents" and is led by Dr. Shashi Pandey. This is a purely temporary, contractual post that is co-terminus with the project. You will work on the synthesis and characterization of organic compounds and write research papers.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry or M.Pharma (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) or equivalent with at least 55% marks
• NET/GATE: You must have a valid NET (JRF or LS or PhD-only) or GATE score card (mandatory) as per the latest CSIR guidelines
• Desirable: Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques, synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic compounds
• Nationality: Indian citizen

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 28 years as on the last date of the advertisement.
• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.

Salary

• You will get a fellowship of Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA as per CSIR rules.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:
