Cement Corporation of India Limited (CCI), a Central Government public sector cement producer, is engaging a Foreman (Production) for Tandur Cement Factory in Telangana. The fixed-term assignment is intended for a highly experienced person from government or PSU production work who has already served at a senior workmen grade. The immediate focus is cement-mill operation, combining central-control-room monitoring with close coordination in the field.

This is a hands-on process role in a heavy industrial plant. The foreman has to balance output, power use, cement quality and equipment condition while watching for abnormalities that can interrupt material flow. Experience in cement manufacturing or another heavy process industry is important because the work involves ball mills, conveyors, filters, compressors, fly-ash feeding and several linked departments. Shift records and production reports also matter: they give the next team a reliable picture of mill performance and unresolved issues.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: the engagement starts for one year and may continue when performance and the corporation's need support an extension. CCI may end the contract according to operational requirement without assigning notice.
• Place of work: Tandur Cement Factory is the initial posting, though the notice allows deployment to another place in India when CCI requires it.
• Shift duty: you should be ready for rotating shifts and must remain available when the Production Department needs support.
• Safety: compliance with plant safety, environmental rules and standard operating procedures is part of the assignment.
• Leave and benefits: the contract provides 12 paid-leave days for a full year, but it does not include ESI or EPF coverage.
• Interview travel: CCI does not arrange accommodation or pay TA or DA for attending the walk-in.
• Service record: a person coming from government or a PSU needs a clear record and the applicable vigilance clearance.
• Medical fitness: joining remains subject to fitness and CCI's prescribed medical review.
