Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has released an official notification (Advt. No. 01/2026) to fill 92 posts of Dairy Field Officer / Technical Officer (Dairy). These posts are under Bihar State Milk Co-operative Federation Ltd (COMFED), which works under the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Government of Bihar.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.Tech or B.Sc. in Dairy Technology from a recognised university/institute, OR Diploma in Industrial Dairy Development (IDD) from National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI)
• Age Limit (as on 01 August 2026):
  • General: 21 to 37 years
  • BC/EBC Female, Unreserved Female: 21 to 40 years
  • SC/ST: 21 to 42 years

How Many Posts?

Total vacancies: 92 posts

Salary

Selected candidates will get salary in Pay Level 6 under the 7th CPC. The pay range is Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month, plus allowances as per government rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on two parts:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): 75 marks
2. Experience Marks: 25 marks (5 marks per year of experience in the dairy/milk cooperative sector, up to 5 years maximum)

Total: 100 marks
