The Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) Office, Budaun is selecting 17 Academic Resource Persons (ARP) across different development blocks in the district. This role is open only to serving teachers working in Parishadiya Primary and Upper Primary schools with at least 5 years of teaching experience. BSA Budaun Academic Resource Person (ARP) Recruitment 2026 - 17 Posts

The District Basic Shiksha Adhikari Office in Budaun, Uttar Pradesh has released a notice for selecting 17 Academic Resource Persons (ARP) to support the restructured Block Resource Centres under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. This selection follows directions from the Director General School Education and the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Lucknow, along with a state government order, after approval from the District Selection Committee, Budaun. These ARPs mentor and supervise teachers at the block level to improve the quality of elementary education. Only serving Parishadiya school teachers can apply — this is not open to the general public or fresh graduates.

Selection happens separately for each development block based on how many posts are vacant there, and the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, UP has reserved the right to change or cancel the notice and to increase or decrease the number of posts as required, without giving any reason.

Who Can Apply?

  • Qualification: You must hold a graduation degree along with a recognised teacher training qualification.
  • Current Position: You must currently be working as a teacher in a Parishadiya Primary or Upper Primary school under the Basic Shiksha Parishad, UP.
  • Experience: You need at least 5 years of teaching experience in a Parishadiya Primary/Upper Primary school.
  • Remaining Service: You must have at least 5 years of service left before retirement, counted from 11 July 2026.
  • Clean Record: You should not have any pending departmental inquiry or proven disciplinary action against you.
  • Tenure: The ARP assignment runs for 1 year at a time, renewed every year after a performance appraisal by the District Selection Committee, up to a maximum of 3 years.
  • Teachers who have already completed 3 years as ARP earlier are generally not eligible to apply again, unless a block does not get enough new applicants — in that case, those with completed tenure can also apply.

Salary

  • Selected ARPs continue to draw their regular teacher salary from their parent school — there is no separate pay scale for the ARP role.
  • You will get a monthly mobility allowance of Rs. 4,500 for covering your supervision duties across schools in your block.
  • No extra increment, incentive or bonus is given beyond this travel allowance.

Selection Process

The selection is done in 2 stages:

  1. Written Exam: 70 marks. You need to score at least 60% to qualify for the interview.
  2. Interview: 30 marks, based on subject knowledge, self-motivation, leadership ability, commitment and your dedication to elementary education.

The final merit list is prepared using your combined written exam and interview marks. Selection is done separately for each development block, so your merit is compared only with other applicants for the same block.

  1. Get the application form in the prescribed format attached with the official notice.
  2. Fill in the form and clearly write your development block name in bold letters on the sealed envelope.
  3. Attach all required certificates and documents with the form.
  4. Send your application through your concerned Block Education Officer (BEO) for forwarding.
  5. Send the sealed envelope by Registered Post or Speed Post only to the District Basic Shiksha Adhikari Office, Civil Lines, Budaun – 243601.
  6. Make sure it reaches before 20 July 2026, 5:00 PM — the office stamp date will be treated as the receipt date.

Important: Applications not in the prescribed format, received after the deadline, or sent by any method other than Registered/Speed Post will be rejected without further correspondence. You alone will be responsible if your application is rejected for these reasons, so double-check the format and delivery method before sending.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned schools regularly to observe classroom teaching and give feedback to teachers
  • Support the Block Resource Centre in planning teacher training and academic activities
  • Track learning outcomes of students and suggest corrective steps to schools
  • Guide teachers on new teaching methods and government academic guidelines
  • Prepare monthly supervision and progress reports for the Block Education Officer
  • Coordinate with school heads to resolve academic and administrative issues
  • Assist in conducting assessments, exams and academic reviews at the block level
  • Promote use of teaching-learning materials and digital resources in classrooms

Minimum Qualification

Graduation degree with a recognised teacher training qualification; currently serving as a teacher in a Parishadiya Primary/Upper Primary school under UP Basic Shiksha Parishad with at least 5 years of teaching experience
