BOB Credit Analyst Recruitment 2026: Overview

Bank of Baroda (BOB) is adding Credit Analyst – Corporate and Institutional Credit officers to its nationwide corporate-banking network. This is a regular officer appointment in the Corporate & Institutional Credit Department, where the work sits close to large-business lending, relationship management and account monitoring. The role combines fresh credit appraisal with ongoing portfolio oversight, so it suits banking professionals who are comfortable reading financial information and coordinating with relationship teams.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Pan-India service: You may be placed at any Bank of Baroda branch, office or other location chosen by the bank. Apply only if you are ready to serve anywhere in India.
  • Regular appointment: The role is in the bank's officer cadre rather than a fixed-term project. Your service conditions follow the industry-level settlement, the applicable Joint Note and Bank of Baroda policies as revised from time to time.
  • Probation: The appointment begins with 12 months of active-service probation. Confirmation depends on completing the bank's requirements during this period.
  • Service bond: An appointee must serve the bank for at least 3 years. Leaving earlier can require payment of three months' gross salary, capped at Rs. 3 lakh, subject to the terms issued with the offer.
  • Application limit: The bank permits one application per candidate under this advertisement. If you register more than once, only the latest completed application is retained and earlier payments are not returned.
  • Experience test: Clerical-cadre work does not count toward the officer-level experience condition. A spell shorter than 6 months with an organisation is also ignored unless it is part of your current employment.
  • Provisional shortlisting: Initial scrutiny may rely on what you enter online. Your appointment remains subject to original-document checks, and the bank can cancel the application when a claim is unsupported or incorrect.
  • Reservation records: If you claim a reserved or horizontal category, keep the prescribed current certificate ready. OBC applicants need a valid non-creamy-layer certificate, while EWS and PwBD claims must follow the formats and validity rules in the notice.
  • Communication: Call letters and recruitment updates are issued through the careers page and the email address used in your form. No printed call letter is sent by post, so keep the registered email active until the process finishes.
  • Bank discretion: The advertised requirement may change with business needs, and the bank may alter or add an assessment method. Meeting the minimum conditions does not by itself guarantee a call for the next stage.
