Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise, has announced Trade Apprenticeship Training for 187 candidates at its Heavy Electrical Equipment Plant (HEEP), Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The apprenticeship is offered across 7 trades under the Apprentices Act, 1961. ITI pass-outs looking to gain hands-on industry experience at a leading PSU should apply before the deadline.

Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: You must have passed ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the relevant trade from an NCVT / SCVT recognised institute.

Stipend
- Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend during the training period as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and government rules for the relevant trade.
Selection Process (No Written Exam)
Selection is fully merit-based, with no written exam:
- Merit List: A merit list is prepared using a weighted average - 70% weightage to your ITI marks and 30% weightage to your High School (Class 10) marks.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates for verification.

Responsibilities
- Undergo structured on-the-job training in the assigned trade at BHEL Haridwar.
- Learn shop-floor operations, machines and tools used in the trade.
- Assist skilled workers and supervisors during production and maintenance tasks.
- Follow all workplace safety rules and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain training records and complete assignments given by the trainer.
- Attend classroom and practical sessions regularly during the apprenticeship period.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the relevant trade from an NCVT / SCVT recognised institute (regular pass-out of 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026).
Required Skills
Trade-specific skills as per ITI training in Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Electrician, Welder, Draughtsman or Foundryman.
