Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise, has announced Trade Apprenticeship Training for 187 candidates at its Heavy Electrical Equipment Plant (HEEP), Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The apprenticeship is offered across 7 trades under the Apprentices Act, 1961. ITI pass-outs looking to gain hands-on industry experience at a leading PSU should apply before the deadline.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed ITI (National Trade Certificate) in the relevant trade from an NCVT / SCVT recognised institute.
• Pass-out Year: You should be a regular ITI pass-out of 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026, depending on the trade.
• Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship or have prior training experience under the Apprentices Act may not be eligible.

Stipend

• Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend during the training period as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and government rules for the relevant trade.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is fully merit-based, with no written exam:

1. Merit List: A merit list is prepared using a weighted average - 70% weightage to your ITI marks and 30% weightage to your High School (Class 10) marks.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates for verification.

• Undergo structured on-the-job training in the assigned trade at BHEL Haridwar.

• Maintain training records and complete assignments given by the trainer.
• Attend classroom and practical sessions regularly during the apprenticeship period.
