Berhampur University Faculty Recruitment 2026 - Dates Revised

Berhampur University has revised the application schedule for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor recruitment. The online application portal opens on 20 May 2026 and closes on 21 June 2026 at midnight. Candidates who submit the online form must send the hard copy with required documents by 01 July 2026 up to 5:00 PM. The official application portal is himsrecruitment.odisha.gov.in.

Corrigendum and Addendum Changes

• Application Portal: Candidates must apply through himsrecruitment.odisha.gov.in instead of the earlier HIMS URL.
• Professor Posts: Out of 19 Professor posts, 1 post including backlog vacancies is for PwD Category-I, subject to functional classification and eligible candidate availability.
• Associate Professor Posts: Out of 38 Associate Professor posts, 2 posts including backlog vacancies are for PwD candidates: 1 under Category-I and 1 under Category-II.
• Assistant Professor Posts: Out of 38 Assistant Professor posts, 3 posts including backlog vacancies are for PwD candidates: 1 under Category-II, 1 under Category-III and 1 under Category-IV.
• Women Reservation: Women reservation is horizontal. If suitable women candidates are not available, the post may be filled by suitable male candidates from the respective category, so male candidates can also apply for posts marked Women (W).
• Fees and Age Limit: No fee or age-limit change was found in the checked official notices.
