BEML Limited, a Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has released Advertisement No. KP/S/10/2026 dated 17 June 2026. The recruitment is for non-executive Operator posts on tenure basis across Fitter, Turner, Welder, Machinist, and Electrician trades. Selected staff can be posted at any BEML manufacturing complex, business location, or upcoming manufacturing complex.

This is a four-year tenure engagement, not a regular permanent job. The engagement ends automatically after completion of the tenure, and the notice says it does not give the right to claim regular employee status. Apply only if your ITI trade, NTC, NAC, age, and category documents match the official requirements.

The trade certificate match is critical: Apply only for the trade where your ITI, NTC, and NAC match the advertised requirement. BEML can reject incomplete or wrong applications, and the portal requires document upload for certificates, mark sheets, identity proof, and category proof where applicable.

Who Can Apply?

• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
• ITI Requirement: You need first-class ITI with 60% marks in the respective trade under the conventional Craftsmen Training Scheme.
• NTC: You must have a National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT.
• NAC: You should have completed apprenticeship and have a National Apprenticeship Certificate in the respective trade issued by DGT.
• Marks Relaxation: Minimum marks are relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD applicants.
• Cut-off Date: Age, qualification, and experience will be checked as on 10 July 2026.

Age Limit

• GEN/EWS: Upper age limit is 29 years.
• OBC: Upper age limit is 32 years.
• SC/ST: Upper age limit is 34 years.
• PwD: Additional relaxation of 10 years over the relaxation available to SC/ST/OBC-NCL, where applicable.
• Reference Date: Age is counted as on 10 July 2026.

Salary

• Basic Pay: Rs. 16,900 per month.
• Dearness Allowance: Paid at applicable IDA rates.
• HRA: Paid as applicable at the posting place if company quarters are not provided.
• Medical Expense Support: Rs. 1,500 per month.
• Annual Increase: 3% increase on basic pay during tenure, subject to satisfactory performance.
• Other Benefits: Provident Fund on basic pay plus DA, gratuity as per scheme, and bonus as per Bonus Act.

• GEN / EWS / OBC: Rs. 200, non-refundable.
• SC / ST / PwD: No fee.
• Payment Mode: Online payment at the end of the application form.

Selection Process

BEML will select applicants through a computer-based written test, followed by document verification and medical examination. The written test has 100 MCQs for 100 marks in 2 hours, with no negative marking.

1. Written Test: Computer-based test with General Awareness, English and Reasoning, and trade discipline questions.
2. Minimum Pass Marks: 45%, relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD applicants.
3. Document Verification: Merit-listed applicants will be called discipline/category-wise up to the number of notified posts.
4. Character and Antecedent Verification: Verification will be done through the concerned authorities as per company rules.
5. Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Final engagement depends on satisfactory medical fitness as per BEML standards.

• Handle fitter, turner, welder, machinist, or electrician duties as per trade assignment
