The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Barnala is hiring 1 Worker for its creche and 1 Guard, both on a contract basis. Barnala District Court Worker and Guard Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

The District & Sessions Court, Barnala (Punjab) has invited applications to fill 1 post of Worker for the creche run under the National Minimum Guidelines for Setting up and Running Creches under the Maternity Benefit Act, 2017, and 1 post of Guard for the Sessions Division. Both posts are purely on a contract basis for the financial year 2026-27, with pay fixed at the minimum wage rate set by the Deputy Commissioner, Barnala. Who Can Apply?

For Worker (Creche):

• You should be a Matriculate (10th pass) with knowledge of Punjabi language, as per the Selection Criteria under the National Minimum Guidelines for Creches.

For Guard:

• You should have knowledge of Punjabi language up to middle standard, as applicable to Group-D posts in this Sessions Division.

Age Limit

• Worker: You should be between 20 and 40 years old.
• Guard: You should be between 18 and 35 years old.
• Age and other eligibility conditions are counted as on 1 June 2026.

Salary

• Both posts will be paid as per the minimum wages fixed by the Deputy Commissioner, Barnala, as admissible from time to time for the financial year 2026-27.

Selection Process

Selection for both posts is done in the following stages:

1. Application Screening: Your application is checked against the eligibility criteria for the post.
2. Skill Test/Interview: The schedule will be posted on the court website — no separate call letter will be sent, so keep checking the site.

You must bring your original testimonials to the skill test/interview. No TA/DA will be given for attending.
