High Court of Manipur (HCM) Manipur Judicial Service Grade-III Recruitment 2026 - 12 Posts
The High Court of Manipur (HCM), headquartered at Imphal, has invited applications for 12 Manipur Judicial Service Grade-III posts through direct recruitment, conducted under the Manipur Judicial Service Rules, 2005 (as amended). Manipur Judicial Service Grade-III is the entry-level judicial officer post in the state's subordinate judiciary — selected candidates go on to preside over civil and criminal matters at the district court level, typically starting as Civil Judge (Junior Division) or an equivalent post before progressing to higher judicial ranks over their career, based on seniority and performance. Guwahati has now been added as an additional examination centre alongside Imphal. This change was made following an order in a writ petition (W.P. (C) No. 1110/2025) pending before the Supreme Court of India, and it gives candidates from across the North-East an easier option to appear for the exam without traveling all the way to Imphal. This is a good opportunity for law graduates looking to start a career in the judiciary with a stable government post.
