The High Court of Manipur at Imphal is continuing its direct recruitment for Manipur Judicial Service Grade III. Its latest notice changes the practice-related eligibility condition and sets a revised application deadline for the existing recruitment.
The notice follows the Supreme Court judgment dated 21 August 2026 in W.P. (C) No. 1110/2025 and connected matters. It refers back to the original advertisement dated 4 June and the subsequent July notification, so you should read the documents together.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Practice condition: The September notice allows law graduates to apply despite the earlier three-year practice requirement. You do not need to submit a separate Certificate of Practice for that condition.
- Other requirements: Check the original advertisement alongside the amendments for the remaining conditions that apply to your candidature.
- Examination centre: The July notice added Guwahati alongside Imphal. It said candidates wishing to choose Guwahati would receive a separate option link after the online application window closed.
Application Submission Notes
Use the official online application form. The September notice advises you to complete it early because heavy traffic or connection failures could interrupt a last-minute submission. Applications arriving after the stated closing time will not be accepted.

- 14 July 2026: The Court kept registration open beyond the earlier closing date and added Guwahati as an examination centre.
