The High Court of Tripura, Agartala has released Advertisement No. FC 01/2026 for 4 Group-D posts (Peon/Orderly/Guard) in the establishments of the Family Courts of Tripura. Of the 4 vacancies, 3 are Unreserved and 1 is reserved for SC candidates. Only online applications are accepted — the High Court will not entertain hard copies of the application. Group-D staff play an important support role in the day-to-day functioning of the Family Courts, assisting with security, document handling, courtroom logistics, and general office support. Who Can Apply?

You can apply for this post if you meet the basic qualification and citizenship requirements below. The High Court also lists a few disqualification conditions — read them carefully before you apply.

• Qualification: You need to have passed the Madhyamik/Secondary School Examination or an equivalent exam.
• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of India.

You will NOT be eligible if:

• You have been dismissed from service by the Government, Central Government, High Court, or any statutory or local authority.
• You have been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude.
• You have more than one spouse living.
• You directly or indirectly try to influence the recruiting authority by any means — this includes canvassing or seeking recommendations.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old for the Unreserved category.
• Age Relaxation: Government servants, Persons with Disabilities, Ex-Servicemen, and SC/ST candidates get a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit.

Salary

• Selected candidates get an entry-level pay of Rs. 16,000 per month under Pay Matrix Level-1 of the TSCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2018.
• During the probation period, you will get 75% of the entry pay, i.e. Rs. 12,000 per month.
• Pay is subject to revision by the Government from time to time.
• As a regular Group-D employee of the Tripura judiciary, you will also be part of the State's judicial service structure with eligibility for future in-service benefits as per TSCS rules.

• SC/ST category: Rs. 150

Note: The number of posts to be filled is subject to increase or decrease based on the High Court's actual requirement at the time of selection.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Written Examination (75 Marks, 2 Hours): Includes Letter Writing in Bengali (25 marks), a Handwriting Test in English and Bengali (25 marks), and General Knowledge & Current Affairs (25 marks).
2. Interview (Viva Voce, 25 Marks): Only candidates who qualify the written exam are called for interview. The shortlisting ratio is 1:6 — 6 candidates per vacancy will be called for interview as far as practicable.

Your final merit position is decided by your combined written exam and interview marks, and a panel is prepared in order of merit. Before you appear for the written test, your original mark-sheets and certificates will be scrutinized to confirm you meet the qualification criteria. You will have to bear your own travel and stay expenses for the selection test — no TA/DA is provided. If you are already working in a Government job, you must get a No-Objection Certificate from your employer before applying.

4. Upload the required documents and your photograph.
5. Pay the application fee online using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, Wallet, or UPI.
6. Submit the form and note your Registration Number. If you apply more than once, only the application with the latest Registration Number will be considered — fees paid against an earlier Registration Number will not be adjusted.
7. Download your Admit Card when released. It will mention your Test Centre, exam time, and duration.
