Bank of Baroda (BoB), one of India's largest public sector banks, has opened 5,000 Apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961. These posts are spread across 35 states and union territories, with the biggest share in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra where the bank has the most branches. This is a one-year apprenticeship that gives you hands-on training in real bank work — a great first step if you want a banking career.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
• Local Language: You should know how to read, write and speak the local language of the state you apply for.
• Apprenticeship Rule: You should not have done a bank apprenticeship before.

Age Limit

• You should be between 20 and 28 years old as on 1 May 2026.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer), and up to 10-15 years for PwBD candidates as per rules.

Salary

• You will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 during the one-year apprenticeship.
• This is a training stipend, not a regular salary. The apprenticeship period is 12 months.

Application Fee

• The application fee is charged online through the BFSI Sector Skill Council.
• Payment is accepted via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card and UPI.

Selection Process

Selection is done in three stages:

1. Online Written Exam: An online test held in remotely proctored mode, conducted by BFSI SSC. It checks your reasoning, financial awareness, English and general aptitude.
2. Test of Local Language: You must be able to read, write and speak the local language of the state you applied for.
3. Document Verification: Final check of your certificates and eligibility.

How to Apply

1. Register on the apprenticeship portal (NATS / NAPS) as required.
2. Go to bankofbaroda.in and open the Apprentice recruitment link.
3. Fill in the online application form with your details.
4. Upload your photo, signature and documents.
5. Pay the fee online through the BFSI SSC payment gateway.
6. Submit the form and take a printout for your records.
