The Divisional Forest Officer, Bamra Wildlife Division (under the Odisha Forest Department) is looking for 1 Civil Expert on a contract basis to handle civil engineering work inside the division. Bamra Wildlife Division Civil Expert Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
Bamra Wildlife Division, headquartered at Bamra in Sambalpur district of Odisha, needs an experienced civil engineering professional to supervise construction and renovation work across the division. The engagement is purely contractual for an initial period of one year and will be done through a Service Provider. This is Notice No. 01 of 2026-27 issued on 06 April 2026. Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: You need a Diploma in Civil Engineering or above from a recognised institution. Degree holders (B.E./B.Tech Civil) are also eligible.

Salary

Responsibilities
- Provide urgent and need-based civil engineering services to the DFO and Field Officers of Bamra Wildlife Division
- Prepare plans and estimates for all civil construction works, including new projects and repair/renovation jobs
- Undertake frequent site visits to monitor progress of work qualitatively and quantitatively as per approved estimates
- Check measurement books prepared by Field Officers before payments are released by Range Officers
- Advise the Range Officer and DFO on deduction of Royalty, Labour Cess, DMF, EMF, TDS, GST and ensure deposit in correct Government Heads of Account
- Keep liaison with AEE (R&B), Kuchinda and AEE (RD), Kuchinda and other local Government Engineers for updates on circulars and instructions from Works Departments
- Provide overall guidance to the Division for successful implementation of civil construction works through contractors and departmentally
- Maintain proper records, documentation and compliance with all tender procedures
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Diploma in Civil Engineering or above from a recognised institution
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering with relevant work experience
Required Skills
Civil construction supervision, plan and estimate preparation, measurement book verification, knowledge of Royalty/Labour Cess/DMF/EMF/TDS/GST deductions, tender procedures, Works Department circulars
