APS Happy Valley Shillong Driver cum MTS Recruitment 2026

APS Happy Valley Driver cum MTS Recruitment 2026: Overview

Army Public School (APS) Happy Valley, a CBSE-affiliated school inside 58 GTC, Happy Valley, Shillong, is looking for people to fill its combined Driver cum Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) role. Pay is linked to the daily wages notified by the Government of Meghalaya, so treat this as a daily-wage school job, not a regular government post. The notice is open to civilians and is friendly to ex-servicemen, who can qualify on the strength of their service record instead of a school certificate.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Daily-wage pay: The notice gives no fixed monthly figure; your pay follows the Meghalaya Government's notified daily-wage rates.
• Driving licence: You must hold an updated driving licence, since driving is the core of this post.
• Medical fitness and police verification: The school asks for a medical fitness certificate and police verification, so arrange both early.
• Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates are called for the panel interview, so send a complete application with clear supporting papers.
• No travel allowance: No TA/DA is admissible, so you bear your own travel costs.

Application Submission Notes

There is no online form. Write your application on plain paper, attach your bio-data with a photograph pasted on it, and back your details with valid certificates. Make sure your mobile number, email and address are on the application.
