Army Public School (APS) Gopalpur, located in Ganjam district of Odisha, is conducting recruitment through the Local Selection Board (LSB-II) under Central Command Cluster 08. The school needs 32 teachers on an adhoc basis across four categories — PGT, TGT, PRT and Balvatika (Pre-Primary) teachers. Selection will be through interview — there is no written exam. Who Can Apply?

PGT - Physical Education (Classes IX to XII)

• Qualification: M.P.Ed of at least 2 years from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• B.Ed is not required for this post.

PGT - Computer Science (Classes IX to XII)

• Qualification: M.Tech in Computer Science / M.Sc in Computer Science / MCA from a recognized university.

TGT - English, Sanskrit, Social Science (Geography) (Classes VI to X)

• Qualification: Graduation in the concerned subject + B.Ed with at least 50% marks in both.
• CTET/TET and a valid CSB/OST scorecard are required.

TGT - Yoga

• Qualification: PG degree in Yoga is desired. B.Ed and CTET/TET are not mandatory.

TGT - Counselor

• Qualification: Graduate/PG with Psychology. Certificate or Diploma in Counseling preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• B.Ed and CTET/TET are not required.

PRT - Primary Teacher (Classes I to V)

• Qualification: Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed with 50% marks.
• CTET/TET/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is desired.

PPRT - Balvatika Teacher (Nursery, LKG, UKG)

• Qualification: Senior Secondary (Class XII) with minimum 50% marks.
• ECCE/NTT/B.Ed qualified with minimum 50% marks. ECCE qualified candidates will be preferred.

Common Requirements for All Posts

• Language: You must be able to teach in both English and Hindi.
• Computer: Knowledge of Computer Applications is required.
• Preference: Experience in similar grade in CBSE schools is preferred.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 55 years (as on 01 April 2026).
• If you are below 40 years, no teaching experience is needed.
• If you are between 40 and 55 years, you need at least 5 years of teaching experience in the last 10 years in the appropriate category.
• For Army Spouses, experience is counted cumulatively.

Salary

• Salary will be paid as per AWES norms.
• These are adhoc/term-based appointments for the 2026-27 academic session.
• Selected candidates may get accommodation inside Gopalpur Military Station.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

1. Shortlisting: Based on qualifications, experience, merit, and antecedents.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Call letters will be sent by post and email.
3. Document Verification: Original documents will be checked during the interview.

Note: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

5. Attach one passport-size photograph and a self-addressed envelope with Rs. 42 postage stamp.
6. Write the Post and Subject Applied For on top of the envelope.
