Who Can Apply?
For PGT Posts:
- Qualification: Post-Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks from a recognised university + B.Ed from an NCTE-recognised institution
- Proficiency in English and working knowledge of computers is mandatory
- CTET/TET qualification preferred (mandatory at time of confirmation)
For TGT Posts:
- Qualification: Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks + B.Ed from an NCTE-recognised institution
- CTET/TET qualification is mandatory at the time of appointment
- Candidates without CTET/TET may be considered for adhoc vacancies if they meet other criteria
For PRT Posts:
- Qualification: Graduation with at least 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed or Bridge Course as per NCTE norms
- CTET qualification preferred
For Librarian (TGT):
- Qualification: B.Lib Science from a recognised university
For Coaches:
- Relevant sports background and coaching experience in the respective sport (Athletics, Fencing, Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Football, Base Soft Ball)
Common Requirements for All Posts:
- English proficiency is mandatory for all positions
- Working knowledge of computers required
- AWES Online Screening Test (OST) qualified candidates are preferred, though OST is not mandatory for appearing in the interview
Age Limit
- Age limit is between 18 and 42 years for freshers as on 01 January 2026
- For experienced candidates: up to 55 years
- Age relaxation applies as per government/AWES rules for reserved categories
Salary
- PGT: Approximately Rs. 47,600 per month (Pay Level 8 as per 7th CPC)
- TGT: Approximately Rs. 44,900 per month (Pay Level 7 as per 7th CPC)
- PRT: Approximately Rs. 35,400 per month (Pay Level 6 as per 7th CPC)
- All posts are on adhoc basis — salary may vary and will be as per AWES norms
- Eligible for DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as applicable

Selection Process
- Shortlisting of Applications: Applications are screened based on qualifications and experience
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for interview (tentatively in the first week of May 2026). Candidates with AWES OST / CTET / TET qualification will be given preference
- Document Verification: All original documents verified at the time of interview

- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and question papers for regular and competitive exams
- Evaluate student assignments, class tests, and examinations regularly
- Guide and counsel students on academic performance and career choices
- Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and administrative duties as assigned
- Maintain class registers, student progress records, and required school documentation
- Follow CBSE and AWES guidelines for teaching and student welfare
- Assist in organising school sports meets, cultural events, and other activities
