The Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited (APEPDCL) has released notification for 135 Assistant Executive Engineer posts. This is a common recruitment conducted jointly for five Andhra Pradesh power utilities — APTRANSCO, APGENCO, APCPDCL, APSPDCL, and APEPDCL — so you apply once and get allotted to a utility based on merit, reservation, and your preferences. There is no interview — selection is fully through a single online exam.

Who Can Apply?

• Electrical posts: You need a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognised university.
• Telecom posts: You need a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
• Civil posts: You need a B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering.
• You must meet the eligibility as on the cut-off date given in the notification.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 42 years old as on 01 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC / ST / BC / EWS candidates can apply up to 47 years.
• PwBD: Persons with Benchmark Disabilities can apply up to 52 years.

Salary

• During the two-year probation period, you will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 75,000 per month.
• After probation, you will get the full pay scale plus DA, HRA and other allowances as per the utility's rules.

Selection Process (No Interview)

The selection is based on a single online test:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 questions for 100 marks. There is no negative marking.
2. Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted by merit will be called to verify their original documents.

After the exam, selected candidates are allotted to one of the five utilities based on merit, reservation, and the preferences you give in your application. There is no interview stage.
