High Court of Andhra Pradesh (APHC) at Amaravati has released Notification No.01/2026/Estt. dated 20.03.2026 for filling up 300 posts across 13 different categories by Direct Recruitment under the Service Rules of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, 2025. This includes both carried forward and fresh vacancies across posts like Section Officer, Senior System Officer, Computer Operator, Assistant, Examiner, Typist, Copyist, Data Entry Operator and Office Subordinate. The highest number of vacancies are for Assistant (78 posts) and Data Entry Operator (50 posts). The exam will be a Computer Based Examination (CBE) conducted in English and Telugu.

Who Can Apply?
Section Officer (5 posts)
- Qualification: Degree in Law (3 years or 5 years course) from a recognized university. Preference for candidates with computer skills.
Senior System Officer (1 post)
- Qualification: B.Tech (CSC/ECE/EEE/IT) or M.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognized university.
- Experience: Must have a certificate with 5 years of work experience in Networking and Server Maintenance/Administration.
Computer Operator (31 posts)
- Qualification: Degree in Computer Science from a recognized university + passed Typewriting (English) Higher Grade (45 WPM).
Assistant Librarian (1 post)
- Qualification: Law Degree + B.Li.Sc. + Computer skills certificate for library maintenance.
Librarian Grade-II (1 post)
- Qualification: Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Law + B.Li.Sc.
U.D. Stenographer (7 posts)
- Qualification: Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Law + Shorthand (English) 120 WPM + Typewriting (English) Higher Grade 45 WPM.

Office Subordinate (20 posts)
- Qualification: 7th Class pass or equivalent. Candidates who failed Intermediate but passed 7th class will also be considered. Those with higher qualifications are NOT eligible.
Citizenship: You must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit
- You must be between 18 and 42 years old as on 01 January 2026.
- SC/ST/BC/EWS: 5 years relaxation (up to 47 years).
- PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): 10 years relaxation (up to 52 years).
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules.
- Sports Quota: As prescribed for candidates' respective community/category.

- Section Officer: Rs 57,100 - 1,47,760 per month
- Senior System Officer: Rs 44,570 - 1,27,480 per month
- Computer Operator / Assistant Librarian: Rs 40,970 - 1,24,380 per month
- Librarian Grade-II: Rs 35,570 - 1,09,910 per month
- U.D. Stenographer: Rs 34,580 - 1,27,480 per month
- Assistant / Examiner / Typist / Copyist / DEO / Stenographer: Rs 25,220 - 80,910 per month
- Office Subordinate: Rs 20,000 - 61,960 per month
- Plus DA, HRA and other allowances as per Andhra Pradesh Government rules.
- This appointment is covered by the Contributory Pension Scheme.

For Section Officer, Assistant Librarian, Librarian Grade-II, Assistant, Examiner, Office Subordinate:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE): 80 MCQs for 80 marks in 90 minutes. Selection is based on written exam merit.
- Document Verification
For Senior System Officer, Computer Operator, U.D. Stenographer, Stenographer, Typist, Copyist, Data Entry Operator:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE): 80 MCQs for 80 marks in 90 minutes. Used only for shortlisting, NOT for final selection.
- Skill Test: Final selection is based only on the skill test. CBE marks are not added to skill test marks.
- Document Verification
Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBE:
- Open Competition / EWS: 40%
- BC category: 35%
- SC / ST / PwBD: 30%
- Ex-Servicemen: As per their category
Exam Language: English and Telugu. In case of ambiguity, the English version is final.
Scores may be normalized for multi-shift examinations.

- Complete Part-A (One Time Profile Registration) to get your OTPR ID and Password.
- Using the same OTPR ID, fill in Part-B (Application Form) for each post you want to apply for.

- Submit the application and save the confirmation.

Responsibilities
- Handle administrative and clerical work in the High Court office
- Prepare legal documents, case files, and official correspondence
- Enter and manage data in court management systems accurately
- Assist judicial officers and senior staff with daily court operations
- Maintain records, registers, and filing systems as per court rules
- Process applications, petitions, and other legal paperwork
- Manage computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure (for technical posts)
- Follow all court procedures and maintain confidentiality of case records

Note: For posts requiring skill test (Computer Operator, Stenographer, Typist, Copyist, DEO, U.D. Stenographer, Senior System Officer), the CBE is used only for shortlisting. Final selection is based solely on the skill test.

The salary for Assistant, Examiner, Typist, Copyist, Data Entry Operator and Stenographer is Rs 25,220 to Rs 80,910 per month. Section Officer gets the highest pay at Rs 57,100 to Rs 1,47,760 per month. You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances.
You need to have passed 7th Class or equivalent examination. Candidates who failed Intermediate but passed 7th class are also eligible. Important: Candidates with higher qualifications than 7th class are not eligible for this post.

Selection is in two stages: Computer Based Exam (80 questions, 80 marks, 90 minutes) used only for shortlisting, followed by a Skill Test which determines final selection. For Typist, you need Typewriting at 45 WPM. CBE marks are not counted in the final merit.
