Anna University (Centre for Environmental Studies) is hiring 1 Project Associate II (Senior) on temporary basis for a solid waste management consultancy project. If you have a B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with M.E. or M.Tech in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Management and 5 years of experience in biomining or solid waste management, you can apply. Anna University Project Associate II (Senior) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Centre for Environmental Studies (CES), Anna University, Chennai has issued advertisement number CES/Consultancy/Temporary Staff/2026 dated 14.05.2026 for engaging temporary project staff. The project is for Project Management Consultancy on Biomining of additional quantity of legacy waste dumped at Athipet site of Greater Chennai Corporation. The initial duration is 6 months, extendable based on performance up to the entire project period. Selection is through interview - no written exam.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering, along with an M.E. or M.Tech in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Biomining projects or Solid Waste Management is mandatory.
• Nature: The post is purely on a temporary basis under a consultancy project.

Salary

• Consolidated salary of Rs. 60,000 per month
• Duration: 6 months initially, extendable based on performance up to the entire project period

Selection is based on:

1. Shortlisting based on academic qualification and experience
2. Interview - shortlisted candidates will be called
3. Final selection based on interview performance

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for the interview.

• Maintain documentation, project records, and consultancy deliverables
• Present project findings in review meetings and stakeholder discussions
