ANIIMS Section In-Charge Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Office of the Director, Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS), Sri Vijaya Puram has released a vacancy notice (F. No. 1-4/ANIMERS/Staff Appointment/2026-2027/527 dated 16 May 2026) for the post of Section In-Charge. The engagement is purely on contract basis for a period of 1 year and coterminous with regular recruitment. This is a great opportunity for finance or hospital administration postgraduates who want to work in a leading medical institute in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: You must have a Postgraduate degree in Finance or Hospital Administration or equivalent from any recognised institute.
• Desirable Qualification: A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from any recognised institute is preferred.
• Documents Needed: You should have certificates for academic qualifications, experience, and a valid photo ID proof. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Age Limit

• Male candidates: 18 to 33 years
• Female candidates: 18 to 38 years
• Reference date: Your age will be calculated as on the last date of receipt of application (15 June 2026).

Salary

• You will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 40,000 per month.
• Since this is a contract role, no other government allowances apply.
• The post is purely temporary. Selected candidates will not get benefits of a permanent employee and cannot claim regular appointment.

Selection Process

Selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Scrutiny of Applications: ANIIMS will review all applications received and shortlist eligible candidates.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The venue and date will be announced on the official ANIIMS website.

The decision of the selection committee will be final. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

1. Download the prescribed application form from the official ANIIMS website at aniims.andamannicobar.gov.in or the Andaman & Nicobar Administration website at andamannicobar.gov.in.
2. Fill the form in capital letters with your personal details, qualifications and experience.
3. Paste a recent countersigned passport size photograph.
4. Attach self-attested copies of 10th and 12th certificates, UG and PG degrees with mark sheets, experience certificates, photo ID proof, and address proof.
5. Submit the completed application to the Recruitment Cell, ANIIMS, Sri Vijaya Puram on or before 15 June 2026 by 4:00 PM.
6. Office hours: Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and Saturday up to 12:00 PM.

• Assist the Director and senior officers in policy and administrative matters
