Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) has announced a walk-in interview for 1 Teaching Associate position in the Department of Agronomy at Agricultural College, Bapatla. This is a full-time contract position for 11 months or until a regular post is filled, whichever comes first. The notification was issued under Circular Memo No. A5/92/2026 dated 18 March 2026. Candidates holding a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Agronomy with relevant research experience should attend the walk-in interview directly.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification Route 1 - Ph.D. Holders:

• Qualification: Ph.D. in Agronomy or a relevant subject from a recognized university

Qualification Route 2 - Master's Degree Holders:

• Qualification: Master's degree in Agronomy or a relevant subject with at least 3 years of teaching or research experience
• Experience: Teaching, research, fellowship, training, associateship, or other academic engagements count toward the 3-year requirement

Additional Requirements (All Candidates):

• Bachelor's Degree: You must hold a 4-year or 5-year Bachelor's degree in Agriculture with first division or equivalent OGPA
• Research Publication: You need at least one published research paper in a SCI or NAAS-rated journal (rating 4.0 or above)

Age Limit

• Maximum age for Men: 40 years
• Maximum age for Women: 45 years

Salary

• Master's Degree holders will get Rs. 61,000 per month + HRA
• Ph.D. Degree holders will get Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA

Selection Process

Selection is through a single-stage process:

1. Walk-in Interview: You need to appear in person at Agricultural College, Bapatla on 26 March 2026 at 10:00 AM. The selection committee's decision will be final and binding.
