Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is one of the premier agricultural universities in Andhra Pradesh. The university is hiring a Teaching Associate on a full-time contract basis for the Department of Agricultural Extension Education at its S.V. Agricultural College campus in Tirupati. This is a walk-in interview opportunity with no online application required. The post is reserved for OC-PH category as per state government reservation rules. Candidates with a doctoral or postgraduate degree in Agricultural Extension or a related subject should attend the interview directly.

Who Can Apply?

Option A - Ph.D. Holders (Rs. 67,000/month):

• Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant subject (Agricultural Extension Education or related field)

Option B - Master's Degree Holders (Rs. 61,000/month):

• Qualification: Master's Degree in the relevant subject

Option C - Bachelor's Degree Holders:

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree of 4/5 years with First Division or equivalent OGPA
• Experience: At least 3 years of teaching or research experience (evidenced through Fellowship, Associateship, Training, or other engagements)
• Research: At least one published research paper in SCI or NAAS rated journals (rating 4.0 or above)

For Basic Science Graduates:

• Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences who have a 3-year Bachelor's degree and 2-year Master's degree must also have NET qualification

Age Limit

• Maximum age for Men: 40 years
• Maximum age for Women: 45 years

Salary

• Master's Degree holders: Rs. 61,000 per month + applicable HRA
• Ph.D. Degree holders: Rs. 67,000 per month + applicable HRA
• HRA will be given as per the existing state Government rates applicable at various places and locations

Selection Process

Selection will be done through a single-stage process:

1. Walk-in Interview: Candidates will be evaluated based on their qualifications, experience, and research publications. The interview will be conducted by a selection committee at S.V. Agricultural College, Tirupati.
2. Medical Examination: Selected candidates will need to undergo a medical examination at their own expense before appointment.

Note: No TA and DA will be given to candidates appearing for the interview.
