Andaman & Nicobar Coastal Zone Management Authority (A&NCZMA) Consultant Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

The Department of Environment & Forests, under the Andaman & Nicobar Coastal Zone Management Authority (A&NCZMA), has invited applications for 2 Consultant posts on a purely contractual basis for the financial year 2026-27. These consultants will scrutinize Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports and other documents linked to Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) project proposals that come up for clearance in the islands. The engagement can be extended based on your performance and the department's requirement — a good opportunity if you have a background in environmental science or marine ecology and want hands-on government project experience working directly with the Coastal Zone Management Authority.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Ocean Studies, or an equivalent field from a recognized university.
• Experience: Relevant work experience in environmental studies, impact assessments, ecology, marine biology, risk analysis, or environmental management.
• Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office and related computer applications for report preparation and documentation.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 50 years old to apply for this post.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000 per month per person.
• This amount is inclusive of all allowances — no separate DA, HRA or other benefits will be paid on top of the consolidated pay.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted strictly based on the marks scored on the set evaluation criteria — qualification, experience, and related factors.
2. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates are called for an interview before final selection.

Note: This is a purely temporary and contractual engagement with no claim to a regular government appointment. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process, and the Member Secretary, A&NCZMA reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning reasons.
