Who Can Apply?

• Desirable: Technical experience working in Virology/Microbiology laboratories, especially sewage sample processing

Selection Process

Selection for Project Technical Support 1 will follow these stages:

1. Written Test (conditional): If more than 30 eligible candidates apply, a Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) written test worth 60 marks will be held to shortlist candidates for interview.
2. Interview: If 30 or fewer candidates apply, selection will be based directly on interview. Candidates shortlisted through the written test will also be called for interview.
3. Document Verification: All your original documents will be checked at the time of the interview.

The written test and interview will be held at AIIMS, Patna. No TA/DA will be paid for attending. The decision of the competent authority on selection is final and no representation will be entertained.

Terms & Conditions

• The contract will expire automatically if funding from the ICMR project is withdrawn. Either side can end the contract by giving 30 days' notice or salary in lieu of notice.
• Your leave entitlement will follow the funding agency's leave policy.
• No hostel or accommodation will be provided by the institute.
• This is a full-time position — private practice of any kind is not allowed.
• You may be posted at any location within the institute, including field visits, and may need to work night shifts during emergencies.
• The appointment does not entitle you to any claim for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Patna or ICMR.
• Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of Law at Patna, Bihar.
