All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna (AIIMS Patna) is hiring a Project Nurse-III for the TB AYUSH study in its Department of Community and Family Medicine. Funded by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), the study examines an Ayurveda regimen alongside anti-tuberculosis treatment and macronutrient supplementation. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Study setting: The project uses an open-label, randomised, parallel-arm clinical design. Dr. Bijaya Nanda Naik, Associate Professor in the department, is the Principal Investigator.
• Initial appointment: The first contract runs for six months. Renewal depends on a performance review by the Principal Investigator and approval from the competent authority.
• Later renewals: Subsequent renewals are yearly, subject to the same review and approval, until the project ends. The notice gives the overall project duration as two years; that is not a guaranteed appointment for the entire period.
• Project funding: Your appointment ends automatically if the funding agency withdraws support. The contract does not give you a claim to a regular AIIMS Patna or funding-agency post, or continued engagement after the project.
• Performance: The notice allows termination with one week’s notice when performance does not support successful completion of the project. It also sets expectations of honesty, confidentiality and sincere work.
• Full-time work: You must work full time on this appointment. Private practice is prohibited while you hold the project post.
• Travel costs: AIIMS Patna will not pay travel or daily allowance for taking part in the recruitment. Plan for these costs yourself if you are called to attend.
• Recruitment updates: You need to check the AIIMS Patna website for application status and results. The institute will not send individual updates, and the competent authority’s decisions are final.
