BASU Professor Recruitment 2026: Overview

Bihar Animal Sciences University (BASU) is recruiting Professors in its Veterinary Faculty for Bihar Veterinary College, Patna, and the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Kishanganj. This regular recruitment continues Employment Notice 03/2026 and covers remaining positions for which interviews have not already taken place. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Earlier applicants: You must send an updated application and use the revised score card approved by the university. Without the fresh submission, BASU will treat you as unwilling to participate in this round.

• Transfer liability: You may be moved to an equivalent post within the university’s jurisdiction. Service follows the university’s Act, statutes and rules, including later amendments.
• Recruitment discretion: BASU may change the advertised strength, leave positions unfilled or withdraw posts. It may also correct a selection error after issuing a communication.
• Authenticity: The university can check your records during recruitment or service. Concealed facts or false records can lead to termination and legal action; recruitment disputes come under Patna courts.
