AIIMS Mangalagiri Physiotherapist Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri is holding a walk-in interview for Physiotherapist posts under its Palliative Care Outreach Services Project. The project is run by the Department of Anesthesiology and funded by the Cipla Foundation as a CSR project, so this is a contract job tied to the project, not a permanent AIIMS post.

Outreach is the heart of this role: the work takes you to patients across Andhra Pradesh instead of keeping you inside the hospital. If you hold a BPT and have experience in a relevant field, you can simply walk in with your documents. An MPT is listed as desirable, so a master's degree may help, but it is not compulsory.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: Purely contractual for a fixed period, extendable, or until the project ends, whichever comes first. You will have no claim to a permanent post afterwards.
• Field travel: The job needs extensive field travel within Andhra Pradesh, and field visits are compulsory.
• Full-time only: Part-time engagement is not allowed under the project.
• Consolidated pay: No allowance or facility is given beyond the consolidated salary.
• Relaxations: The Principal Investigator may relax or change the qualification, experience and other terms, and the upper age limit can be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
• Leaving the job: You must give one month's notice, or you may have to pay one month's salary. If your work is found unsatisfactory, the PI can end the appointment at any time without notice.
• Undertaking: Selected candidates sign an undertaking relating to the post. Any canvassing disqualifies you.
• No TA/DA: You travel to the interview at your own cost.

There is no online form. Report to the Ground Floor, Administrative Block, AIIMS Mangalagiri on the interview day with your updated CV, original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies. The interview begins at 9:00 AM, and anyone reporting after 10:00 AM will not be allowed to register, get documents checked or sit the interview.
