Mulugu AYUSH Medical Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Office of the District Collector and Magistrate, Mulugu District is hiring for the Department of AYUSH, Government of Telangana under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM). The posts support AYUSH public health programmes in Mulugu district and come under the administrative control of the Director of AYUSH, Secunderabad.

This is an outsourcing engagement, not a regular government post. The state approved AYUSH posts across Telangana through G.O.Rt.No.1508 dated 21 August 2026, and Mulugu is filling only its own share through a District Selection Committee chaired by the District Collector. If you hold an Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy or Naturopathy degree, a pharmacy qualification, an MSW or a naturopathy and yoga qualification, check the post that matches you.

Posts and Disciplines

• AYUSH Medical Officer: for doctors trained in Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy or Naturopathy. This is a multi-zonal cadre post: you can apply in any district of your multi-zone, but you will be selected for only one district.
• Pharmacist: a district-cadre post open to D.Pharm, B.Pharm or Pharm.D holders who are registered with the Telangana Pharmacy Council.
• Psychosocial Counselor: an on-call role for Master of Social Work (MSW) holders. You are paid per session, and the district may keep a panel of counsellors and call them in when needed.
• Yoga Professional: a district-cadre post for holders of a degree in Naturopathy or a Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The engagement runs up to 31 March 2027. After that, it continues only if the department still needs you and your performance is satisfactory.
• Outsourcing basis: You are engaged through an outsourcing arrangement under the AYUSH public health programme, not appointed to a regular sanctioned post.
• Local reservation: 95% of the posts are reserved for local candidates under the Presidential Order. Your study certificates from Class 4 to Class 10 decide your local status.
• Reservation rules: Community, disability and ex-servicemen reservation follow the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996.
• Age weightage: Age earns marks in the merit list here: 0.5 mark for each completed year after age 18, up to a cap. An older candidate with the same exam marks can rank higher.
• Counsellor engagement: The Psychosocial Counselor is paid per session and must log at least 200 visits a year. It is not a fixed monthly job.
• Merit list: The district will put the merit list on its website, and final selection follows the roster and the Presidential Order.

Corrigenda and Notices

• Multi Purpose Worker removed: The notice first covered five categories, but the Multi Purpose Worker post is struck out by hand throughout the published copy, and the total has been corrected to cover only the four remaining posts.
