AIIMS Jodhpur is hiring 1 Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) for an ICMR research project on tuberculosis screening. If you have a First Class Post Graduate Degree, you can attend the walk-in interview on 28 May 2026. The salary is Rs. 56,000 per month plus HRA. This is a one-year contract post that may be extended based on your performance.

AIIMS Jodhpur Project Research Scientist-I Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur has invited applications for 1 Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) post on a purely temporary basis. The post is part of the ICMR research project titled "Symptom agnostic screening in high transmission settings and characterization of asymptomatic tuberculosis in India", under Principal Investigator Dr. Pankaja Ravi Raghav. Selection is through a walk-in interview only — there is no written exam. The post is co-terminus with the project.

Who Can Apply?

  • Essential Qualification: You must have a First Class Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) from a recognised university.
  • Desirable Experience: At least 5 years experience in community-based projects with data collection, budget handling and data management.
  • Desirable Skills: Proficiency in Hindi, English and the local language.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 35 years (as on the last date of the advertisement).
  • Age Relaxation: Age concession for service rendered in other research projects may be allowed on a case-to-case basis for experienced and skilled candidates (applicable for ICMR projects only).

Salary

  • Monthly salary: Rs. 56,000 plus HRA as admissible.
  • The salary is a consolidated sum based on your experience, qualification and skill set, without any other benefits.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in this order:

  1. Walk-in Interview: Appear in person on 28 May 2026 with your filled application, bio-data and all original documents.
  2. Screening/Scrutiny Test: The competent authority may conduct a screening test if the number of applicants is high.
  3. Document Verification: Original certificates of age, qualification and experience will be checked, along with one set of self-attested photocopies.
