All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has invited applications for 3 project posts under the ICMR-funded research project titled "Complete human eyeball transplant: A Multidisciplinary approach towards functional vision restoration" (Project Code I-2004). The Principal Investigator is Dr. Deepsekhar Das, Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology. These are temporary/contractual posts tied to the project duration. Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview, and no TA/DA will be paid.

Who Can Apply?

Project Research Scientist II (Medical) — 1 Post (Rs. 80,000 + HRA)

• MBBS / BVSc / BDS with 3 years' experience, OR
• MBBS / BVSc / BDS with MPH / PhD, OR
• MBBS / BVSc / BDS + Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees)

Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical) — 1 Post (Rs. 56,000 + HRA)

• First Class Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG), OR
• Second Class Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG) with PhD, OR
• For Engineering / IT / CS — First Class 4-year Graduate Degree

Project Technical Staff III — 1 Post (Rs. 28,000 + HRA)

• Three-year graduate degree in relevant subject/field + 3 years' experience, or PG in relevant subject/field, OR
• For Engineering / IT / CS — First Class 4-year Graduate Degree + 3 years' experience

Age Limit

• Project Research Scientist II (Medical): Up to 40 years
• Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical): Up to 35 years
• Project Technical Staff III: Up to 35 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per ICMR/Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.

Salary

• Project Research Scientist II (Medical): Rs. 80,000 per month + HRA as admissible
• Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical): Rs. 56,000 per month + HRA as admissible
• Project Technical Staff III: Rs. 28,000 per month + HRA as admissible

Selection Process

Selection is through interview only:

1. Application Screening: Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.
2. Interview at AIIMS New Delhi, Department of Ophthalmology.
3. Document Verification at the time of interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the selection committee is final.
