AIIMS Delhi IRCH Multiple Myeloma Project Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts
The Laboratory Oncology Unit at Dr. B.R.A. IRCH, AIIMS New Delhi has invited applications for four project posts under the DBT-funded research project titled "Exploring Collaborative Translational & Implementation Avenues in Multiple Myeloma: Genomic Biomarkers, Targeted Therapeutics, and Non-Invasive Response Monitoring" (Project Code: BT-2243). The project runs from 2026 to 2029 (3 years). This is a chance to work with senior oncology researchers on genomic biomarkers and next-generation sequencing (NGS) in multiple myeloma.

Project Scientist-III
- Essential: Doctoral degree in Science or Master's degree in Engineering / Technology from a recognised university.
- Experience: Six years of research experience.
Research Associate-I (Proteomics)
- Essential: PhD degree in life sciences.
- Desirable: Hands-on experience in proteomics.
Research Associate-I (Genomics / NGS)
- Essential: PhD degree in life sciences.
- Desirable: Experience in genomics including Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS).
Technician
- Essential: B.Sc or 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology.
Salary
- Salary will be paid as per DBT / DST norms for project positions.
- The exact monthly emolument depends on the post and prior experience.
- The appointment is purely on a contract basis and is co-terminus with the DBT project (up to 2029).
Selection Process
Selection is interview-based — there is no written exam.
- Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview based on qualification and experience.
- Interview: Held at AIIMS New Delhi. No TA/DA will be provided.
- Document Verification: Original certificates must be brought at the time of interview.

Responsibilities
- Carry out laboratory research on genomic biomarkers in multiple myeloma
- Perform proteomics and next-generation sequencing (NGS) experiments
- Maintain accurate research records and standard operating procedures
- Analyse data and prepare reports for the principal investigator
- Support translational and implementation studies on targeted therapeutics
- Assist in non-invasive response monitoring assays
- Help with sample collection, processing and storage as per project protocols
- Contribute to manuscript drafting and presentations at scientific meetings
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
B.Sc or 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Technician); PhD in life sciences (Research Associate-I); Doctoral degree in Science or Master's in Engineering/Technology + 6 yrs experience (Project Scientist-III)
Preferred Qualification
Experience in proteomics or genomics (including NGS) for Research Associate posts
