AIIMS Delhi Dermatology Project Research Scientist-II Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Department of Dermatology and Venereology, AIIMS New Delhi, has invited applications for one Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) post under the research project titled "Design and development of Indigenous AI-assisted smartphone applications for early detection and management of sexually transmitted infections and leprosy in India: Introduction and Implementation of YaunSwasthya and KusthCare". The project is funded by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India under Project Code T-316E. This is a great opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, smartphone-based health technology and public health.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree (including integrated PG degrees) with 3 years post-qualification experience, OR a PhD degree.
• Alternative: For Engineering / IT / Computer Science candidates — a 4-year Graduate degree with 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Degree must be from a reputed institution / board / university.
• Experience should be in a relevant field (AI, mobile applications, dermatology informatics, public health technology).

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years.
• Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates as per Government rules.

Salary

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 67,000 per month.
• HRA: 30% extra on basic.
• Total monthly emoluments: Rs. 87,100 per month (including HRA).
• The appointment is purely on contract basis and ends when the project ends.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is interview-based.

1. Shortlisting: Resumes will be screened based on qualification and relevant experience.
2. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called. The interview date and time will be communicated by email. No TA/DA will be paid.
