The Department of Pharmacology at AIIMS, New Delhi has invited applications for 1 Junior Research Fellow (Medical) and 1 Project Technical Support III position for a research project titled "Efficacy of a polyherbal formulation Habb-E-Suranjan, integrating inflammatory biomarkers and targeted metabolomics in patients with stable coronary artery disease on standard therapy: a randomized, open-label study". The project is funded by CCRUM, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. Selection is through walk-in interview only - no written exam.

Who Can Apply?

Junior Research Fellow (Medical) - 1 Post

• Qualification: Postgraduate degree (MSc, M.Pharm, MD, or MS) in Ayurveda, Unani, or Homeopathy with previous experience in research projects.
• Required Skills: Expertise in field-related techniques, proficiency in data management, and skills in documentation.

Project Technical Support III - 1 Post

• Qualification: 12th Class in Science stream + BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant subject or field.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years for both posts
• Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years as applicable for Junior Research Fellow (Medical) position

Salary

• Salary will be paid as per Ministry of AYUSH norms for both posts
• Engagement is on contract basis for a duration of 3 years

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in two stages:

1. Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates are interviewed by the selection committee on the date of the walk-in.
2. Document Verification: Original certificates and self-attested photocopies will be checked at the time of interview.

• Operate laboratory equipment and assist in sample collection, processing, and analysis (Project Technical Support)
• Manage research data, maintain accurate records, and prepare progress reports
• Assist principal investigator in literature review, protocol design, and manuscript preparation (JRF Medical)
• Coordinate with patients, lab staff, and project investigators for smooth study execution
• Follow ICMR research ethics, AYUSH guidelines, and AIIMS lab protocols at all times
